the connection is digital, which guarantees a
full digital transfer without intermediate digital-to-analogue,

The volume fluctuations that you sometimes hear when you listen
to MP3 recordings, or when switching radio stations, for example
are now also eliminated. The system features Auto Level Control,
which cancels unwanted changes in volume when you change the source.
The VSX-918V-S includes our unique MCACC system,
which stands for Multi-Channel Acoustic Calibration. At the touch
of a button, the MCACC will optimally tune the amplifier to the
