elegant HTS Tower main front loudspeakers, HTS 201 delivers a larger
scale sound and fuller acoustic across the front soundstage. Combined
with a pair of HTS satellites for rear effects, an HTS Centre and
the potent HTS subwoofer, the HTS 201 system delivers new levels
of performance and style.
For those looking to maximise 7.1 channel HD-Audio on Blu-ray movies,
additional HTS loudspeakers can be purchased to create an outstanding
7.1 or even 9.1 channel system.
Features
HTS 201 is a sumptuous 5.1 channel home theatre system designed
to maximise movie and music performance and complement contemporary
decor with its sleek and modern style. The potent front HTS Tower
speakers are tall and elegant yet maintain a narrow profile and
small footprint. The HTS Satellite rear speakers and HTS centre
can be wall mounted using the supplied brackets or placed on a suitable
surface using their non-scratch rubber feet. The system is completed
with the powerful HTS Subwoofer.
Real wood cabinets
Unlike typical compact home theatre systems Tannoy HTS uses real
wood cabinets to deliver a richer and fuller sound from a compact
enclosure. The elegant HTS Tower speakers encompass much of Tannoy’s
acoustic expertise to create a rich sounding and rigid loudspeaker
designed to get the best from the high-tech HTS drivers.
WideBand™ Tweeters
HTS loudspeakers benefit from a high-tech 19mm (3/4”) Tannoy
WideBand™ tweeter using a titanium dome. Titanium gives a much
cleaner and more accurate response than typical soft dome tweeters
and allows HTS to boast a class-leading frequency response out to
over 40kHz. Not only will this wideband frequency response deliver
the full spectrum of audio on Blu-ray movies it improves the coherence
and naturalness of music reproduction.
Neodymium driver magnets
The HTS WideBand™ tweeter is driven by a compact Neodymium
magnet system. Neodymium is the strongest known type of permanent
magnet, allowing the tweeter to deliver exceptional speed and transparency.
High frequency special effects are projected out into the room and
key dialogue frequencies are reproduced with natural timbre and
articulation.
3” mid-bass drivers
The new HTS mid bass drivers use a 3” pulp paper cone crafted
into a continuous profile with integrated dust cap. Lightweight
and extremely rigid the new mid bass drivers deliver crisp and punchy
bass and give natural depth to male dialogue. The HTS Centre and
HTS Tower uses twin 3” mid bass drivers for a larger and more
involving sound and larger rooms.
Deep gloss finish
To match a wide range of modern electronics and display device
HTS loudspeakers are finished in a rich gloss mirror finish black
vinyl. Discreet black grilles are supplied with all HTS speakers
for those want to complete the sleek look for their home theatre
system.
